The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) will be closed for general public until further notice, Commissioner General of Inland Revenue has announced.
However, all required services for public can be obtained through e-services with relevant information available in the Department’s web site www.ird.gov.lk or by calling the IRD Call Centre on 1944.

The price of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 5, while the price of Lanka Super Diesel Star Euro 4 has been increased by Rs. 5, from midnight today, October 31, 2025, according to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
