The curfew currently in force in the Colombo and Gampaha districts will continue until further notice, the Presidential Secretariat stated.
The President's Office also stated that an island-wide curfew will be in effect on Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25.
Except for the Colombo and Gampaha districts, curfew in all other districts will be in force from 8.00pm tomorrow (23) until 5.00am on Tuesday (26). From then onwards, curfew in these districts will be in effect daily from 8.00pm to 5.00am.
The current process of restarting civilian life and work in the Colombo and Gampaha districts while curfew is in effect, will continue tomorrow and will then recommence from Tuesday (26) as before.
All regulations regarding curfew mentioned in previous press releases continue to be in effect.
