Island-wide curfew on three days
An island-wide curfew will be in effect on Sunday, May 31, the President's Office stated a short while ago.
Curfew for all districts from Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 3, will only be in effect from 10.00pm to 4.00am daily.
An island-wide curfew will also be in effect on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5.
Curfew from Saturday, June 6 will be in effect from 10.00pm to 4.00am until further notice.
Travel between districts is permitted except in the Colombo and Gampaha districts.

The meteorology department issuing a warm weather advisory for today that the temperature felt on human body is likely to increase up to ‘Caution level’ at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western, Northern and North central provinces and in Monaragala district.
