A batch consisting of 47 persons including 15 students who were arrested over an attack on the Jaffna court complex, have been released on bail by the Jaffna Magistrate today. They were enlarged on two personal bails of Rs. 500,000 each.
The 15 school students were produced before the Jaffna magistrate today and acquitted from all charges. The case will betaken up on June 21. Earlier 130 were arrested during protests that followed an attack on the Jaffna court complex.
