Former Trade Minister Johnston Fernando has been arrested by Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division over alleged financial corruption at Sathosa during the previous government.
Earlier today he was summoned by the division to record a statement.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
