A motion seeking the removal of the Secretary General of the Parliament from office was handed over to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today by the joint opposition group.
They allege that the SG failed in his duties to carry out the vote on a supplementary estimate taken in Parliament on May 05, 2016 in an orderly manner.
The motion that was signed by 32 parliamentarians was handed over by JO leader MP Dinesh Gunawardena on Tuesday.
