Supreme Court Justice K. Sripavan took oaths as the 44th Chief Justice of Sri Lanka before president Maithripala Sirisena at presidential secretariat today evening, president media said.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
