A special discussion on the proposed 20th amendment is set to take place between the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe tomorrow (Mar 21).
JVP Propaganda Secretary MP Vijitha Herath said the meeting will take place at the parliamentary complex and would center around the abolishing of the executive Presidency for which the 20th amendment was put forward.
JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, MP Vijitha Herath, and MP Sunil Handunnetti will take part in the talks.
The JVP previously engaged in discussions with the Opposition Leader and the Tamil National Alliance in this regard as well.
