The Colombo Magistrate’s Court Monday rejected a bail application filed on behalf of former Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman who has been remanded for allegedly misusing a state vehicle.
Karuna Amman was remanded until December 7 after being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate earlier. Former Deputy Minister was arrested as he arrived at the FCID to give a statement on the allegation of misusing the state vehicle on November 29.
