Former Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and two others were released on bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya this morning. Bail was granted in the court case on the alleged tender scam at the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation. The Bribery Commission filed a case on April 22 at the Colombo Magistrate’s Court against Keheliya Rambukwella, former SLRC Chairman Wimal Rubasinghe and former SLRC Director General Chandrapala Liyanage.
