The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today informed that the Minuwangoda Magistrate that the DNA sample taken from one of the suspects over the rape and murder of a five year old child in Kotadeniyawa does not matched with the samples taken from the victims body. According to the CID, the arrested suspect Dunesh Priyashantha alias Kondaya’s DNA sample does not match with the victim’s one. Meanwhile the police arrested the elder brother of Kondaya on October 3 over the incident. Both of them are remanded till October 19 by the magistrate.
