The bodies of four persons who were buried in a landslide in the Malapattawa area in Nuwara Eliya were recovered yesterday (Dec 1).
The victims included a 17-year old boy who was expected to sit the G.C.E Ordinary Level examination starting today.
The ither victims were the boy's elder sister, and his grandparents.
The Sri Lanka Army undertook the search operation to recover the bodies buried under a mound of earth.
