Lanka seeks Russian loan to purchase equipment for troops with UN
The Cabinet has given approval to enter into a loan agreement with the Russian Bank “SBERBANK”to fund the purchasing of equipment required for army troops that will be deployed for peace keeping activities at Mali.
The proposal made by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is also Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs.
