Sri Lankan shuttler Hasini Ambalangodage who was part of an international team won the Gold medal in the mixed international relay badminton at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.
Her team consisted of players from seven other countires - USA, Bulgaria, Canada, Italy, India, Cambodia and Sweden.
“I had to play with other players in my group. Our team consisted of four boys and four girls and we had to play ten matches. Finally the team which obtained 110 points won this game. This is a very good experience and winning gold at the Youth Olympic is very special for me,” young Hasini was quoted as telling media.
