A number of flights to and from Sri Lanka will be limiting or stopping their operations as per the schedule from Sri Lanka's main international airport at Katunayake.
SriLankan Airlines is to continue flights to London and Melbourne while Emirates has restricted its flights to Dubai to two flights per day until March 25 when most of its flights will be suspended.
Etihad will operate one flight per day to Abu Dhabi that is likely change depending on onward connections, the schedule indicated.
Oman Air will operate one flight per day and thereafter March 26 two flights.
Qatar Airways flights to Doha are said to operate two flights per day until March 25.
Air Arabia flying to Sharjah on March 25 and 26 flights will be cancelled while it will be operating on March 27.
Malaysian Airlines will operate flights on April 2.
In the meantime, Aeroflot Airlines to Moscow will operate five flights per week as of now; Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong will fly one flight each on March 22 and 29 with three freighters per week.
China Eastern to Shanghai has recommenced flights one per week on Sunday and is likely to have another extra flight as well. (SD)

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
