All the liquor shops and taverns have will be closed tomorrow and day after tomorrow on marking the Presidential Election in the country, Commissioner General of Excise Mr. D. G. M. V. Hapuarachchi said today. Commissioner Hapuarachi said police assistance will be sought to arrest the violators and the Excise Department has the authority to suspend the liquor license of owners who violate the law.
