Lotus Road closed due to protest

Police have temporarily closed Lotus Road in Colombo Fort for vehicular traffic due to a protest demonstration.

The protest is being conducted by a group of disabled armed forced personnel. They are claiming that the Government has still not taken action to resolve their pension issues.
