A haul of posters bearing the LTTE insignia were discovered by security forces on December 19 in Vadamarachchi town in Jaffna.
The posters had forewarned of a cold war being waged by the LTTE although military warfare was not being waged.
Meanwhile, fishermen in Mullativu also discovered an LTTE flag on December 18 which was handed over to the security forces.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
