The Colombo Fort Magistrate yesterday turned down a request made by the police to issue an order to prevent a protest march in Colombo, organized by the Inter University Student Federation (IUSF).
The IUSF is to conduct a protest march today, at the culmination of its march from Kandy to Colombo. The march in Colombo is to begin from in front of the Fort Railway Station.
