A Mali national who was allegedly in possession of four counterfeit Rs 5000 notes and a phone containing pornographic images has been taken into custody by officers from the Walana Anti-Vice Squad.
The suspect was arrested last evening (25) from Madapatha, Piliyandala. He was later handed over to the Piliyandala Police.
The suspect Mali national is 28 years of age. He is due to be produced before the Kesbewa Magistrate's Court today. Piliyandala Police are investigating.
