The body of an individual who was stabbed to death, at a residence in Dharmapala Mawatha in Slave Island, has been discovered, Police said.
It is suspected that the incident had taken place between 9:15 pm and 9:40 pm. The deceased has been identified as a man aged 49.
Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said that the suspect connected to the killing has been identified. An operation is underway to apprehend the suspect.
