Mangala appointed UNP Vice Chairman

Minister Mangala Samaraweera has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the United National Party (UNP). 

Minister Samaraweera's appointment is part of reorganization efforts within the UNP, which has already seen new office bearers appointed to several key positions within the party. 

On his official twitter account, Minister Samaraweera shared his appointment letter signed by UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, stating "30 years ago when I was first appointed as the SLFP organiser for Matara district, I didn't even, in my wildest dreams thought that I would get such a position in the grand old party."
