Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera called on Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland in London yesterday (Jan 18).
Talks between the two officials had revolved around matters of mutual interest.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
