Minister Mangala Samaraweera called on the UK's Commonwealth and United Nations State Minister Lord Tariq Ahamed in London yesterday (Jan 22).
The meeting took place at the State Minister's office in Westeminster, London.
Talks at the meeting revolved around the progress made in the field of human rights and reconciliation, and other mutual interests.
Lord Ahamed is the Special Representative of UK Prime Minister Therese May on preventing sexual violence in conflict, and the freedom of religion and belief.
