Certain areas in Mannar including Mannar Bishop House are under lock down after a construction worker from Wennappuwa tested positive for COVID-19 today, a senior official from Mannar District Secretariat said.
The constuctiion worker at Bishop House tested positive today. Another 22 labourers have been subjected to PCR tests.
Considering the current situation, Additional District Secretary S.Gunapalan said that the staff from other districts attached to the District Secretariat have been requested not to report to work today. (N.Lohathayalan)
