Deputy Minister Nalin Bandara refuted reports that neither the President nor the Premier had asked IGP Pujitha Jayasundara to tender his resignation within two weeks.
Law and Order Deputy Minister made these comments in response to a question raised by UPFA MP Kanaka Herath in Parliament today (Sept 20).
Further, the Prime Minister’s Office also refuted report claiming that the Prime Minister had asked IGPJayasundara to resign from office.
