UPDATE : Minister Rishad Bathiudeen's brother released
The brother of Minister Rishad Bathiudeen has been released after recording a statement a short while ago.
According to the police, the Minister's brother had been stopped at a road block in Vavuniya following which a statement was obtained.
He was released thereafter, police said.

He was taken into custody by the Intelligence Unit of the Army.
