PCR tests are presently being conducted on police officers attached to Minuwangoda police station after the police canteen owner was found infected with Covid, Police said.
The canteen employee has contracted the virus from her son, who is a worker of the Minuwangoda garment factory.
About 150 police officers will undergo PCR tests.
Meanwhile, recording of complaints at the Minuwangoda police has been temporarily suspended until the station is disinfected and new officers are sent there.
