Over 30 shops will be closed in Manning market in Colombo today as PCR
tests will be conducted on those working in shops, Police said.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Colombo, Rosi Senanayake and many other
Colombo Municipal Council employees and close contacts will undergo
PCR tests, a senior official of the CMC said.
They have been exposed to an employee attached to its Charity
Commissioner’s office who was tested positive for Coronavirus.
Police said more PCR tests will be conducted in Colombo where an
employee of a private bank premises was found having the virus.
