Two groups of protesters held demonstrations opposite the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo this afternoon.
The protests were conducted by a group of casual employees of the Department of Archaeology and the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
The protesters appealed to the Government to ensure that their jobs are protected.
