The government has disbursed more than Rs 198 million as compensation to victims who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on April 21, the Prime Minister's office said.
Accordingly, 201 persons of the total 263 who were reported to have been killed in the bombings, have received compensation so far.
In addition, 438 persons who were injured in the attacks have also received compensation with the total amounting up to Rs 64 million. The bombings had left 500 persons injured.
The Prime Minister's office noted that reconstruction activities at the three churches which were attacked on Easter Sunday have either been completed or are currently underway.
