Two unidentified individuals who had arrived on a motorcycle had stolen Rs 623,634 from a Grameen Bank in Ihala Beligalla yesterday (Mar 13).
The suspects had done so by threatening bank employees using a gun, police said adding that the CCTV camera equipment installed at the bank were also stolen during the theft.
Beliatta police are conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspects involved in the robbery.
