Against the backdrop of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) agreeing to vote in favour of the no -confidence motion against Mahinda Rajapaksa and the government in Parliament, MP Namal Rajapaksa says the TNA is supporting Mr Ranil Wickeremesinghe for their own survival.
MP Namal took to his official Twitter handle saying the TNA never cared for the ¨true needs of the Tamil community.¨
TNA is supporting @RW_UNP for their own survival. They’ve never cared 4 the true needs of the Tamil community. Irrespective of its decision, Pres @MaithripalaS & PM @PresRajapaksa will continue 2 address the needs of the North/East, including rehabilitation of former LTTE cadres.
