MP Namal Rajapaksa has taken to his official Twitter handle to express his views on MP Range Bandara´s claims of being offered US$ 2.8 million to cross over, saying that ¨we were unaware of any such incident.¨
MP Rajapaksa suggested that an immediate investigation be called for with regard to the allegations of bribery.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
