Parliamentarian Shantha Abeysekara has been further remanded until November 5, on orders of the Chilaw High Court, for violating bail conditions.
Abeysekara, is facing a trial after a firearm had been recovered from his residence on May 30, 2005. He had been previously released on bail.
He had been remanded until today (Oct 17) after Police informed Court that the Puttalam District Parliamentarian had violated his bail conditions on two occasions.
