Parliamentarian Ranjith Soyza and three others who were arrested over assaulting an individual have been released on bail by the Pelmadulla Magistrates Court today (Dec 28).
MP Soyza was arrested along with three others on December 16 in connection with an assault in Godakawela.
The suspects were produced before the Magistrates court on December 20 following which they were ordered to be remanded until January 01, 2019.
The Pelmadulla Magistrate had released the suspects on personal bonds of Rs 200,000 each.
