Parliamentarians Dallas Alahapperuma and Keheliya Rambukwella have been appointed as the spokespersons of Presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Issuing a statement, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) stated that this decision had been taken during a meeting convened by the Joint Opposition under SLPP leader Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (Aug 29).
The SLPP nominated former defence secretary Rajapaksa as its presidential candidate during its annual convention this month.
