Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed newly appointed Petroleum Minister Gamini Lokuge to resolve the issue pertaining to the fuel price discrepancies between the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and the LIOC.
Mr. Rajapaksa had given the instruction following talks with representatives of the Petroleum Dealer's Association (PDA) at the Prime Minister's office yesterday (Nov 29).
During the discussion, the PDA had demanded an equivalent price for fuel obtained from CPC and LIOC.
