MR's ex-driver remanded over alleged fraud

Captain Tisssa Wimalasena, an ex-driver of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, was arrested yesterday and later remanded till June 27 over an alleged fraud. 

The suspect was arrested last morning by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) on charges of misappropriating state property.

He was later produced before the Colombo Additional Magistrate who remanded him until June 27.
