Nadeemal Perera, 24, the son of singer Amal Perera who was arrested in Dubai has been deported to the country today. He was arrested along with 30 others including Makandure Madush.
Menawhile, another suspect identified as K. Lalith Kumara, 52, a Controller of Prisons, who was also among those arrested in Dubai has been deported along with Mr. Perera, police high ranking sources told Times Online.
The suspects had arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport earlier this morning on Fly Dubai air carrier FZ-547.
They are being questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department and the Police Narcotics Bureau at the airport.
