Mahason Balakaya leader Amith Weerasinghe and Anti Corruption Force Director Namal Kumara, have been arrested over the recent riots in Kuliyapitiya and Minuwangoda.
The suspects were arrested by a special police team this morning, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.

The arrest was carried out by a special police team this morning.
Mr. Kumara was involved in revealing an alleged conspiracy to assassinate the President and former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
