Director of the Anti-corruption movement Namal Kumara yesterday (Nov 25) released a snippet from a phone call recording pertaining to the alleged assassination plot of President Maithripala Sirisena.
The caller, in the phone recording instructs Mr. Kumara to prepare a "list of issues and solutions" before meeting the "minister".
According to Mr. Kumara, the reference made to a "minister" refers to none other than Ranjith Madduma Bandara, the Minister of Law and Order under the Maithri-Ranil coalition government.
He noted that the recordings were submitted to the CID before he released it to the media.
