The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has requested the public to use water sparingly due to the drought being experienced in certain areas at present.
Water levels in reservoirs have dropped drastically due to a change in weather patterns which have further compounded the issue, the NWSDB said in a statement.
The statement further noted that it was extremely difficult to keep supplying water at a constant rate owing to these factors and urged to the public to be mindful of their consumption.
