The United Peoples Freedom Allaince (UPFA) Western Provincial Councilor Nauzer Fowzie was arrested today by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) for allegedly threatening a businessman with a firearm in 2012.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
