NCPC approves 20th Amendment

The North Central Provincial Council (NCPC) today approved the proposed 20th Amendment to the Constitution. A total of 15 Provincial Councilors voted for the proposed amendment while 13 voted against it. 

The 20th Amendment to the Constitution proposes to hold all Provincial Council elections on the same day. 

The amendment was gazetted earlier this month and the draft has now been sent to the PCs for approval.
