The Health Ministry has decided to convert the 400-bed Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital in Malabe to a COVID-19 treatment facility, the Ministry stated in press release.
Accordingly, initial plans for this purpose were drawn up this morning and Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi undertook a visit to the hospital to inspect the preparations.
