Nalaka Kaluwewa, a senior officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) has been appointed as the Acting Director General of the Government Information Department by order of President Sirisena.
According to the President’s Media Division Mr Kauwewa currently serves as an Acting Additional Secretary to the President.
Outgoing DG Attorney-at-Law Sudarshana Gunawardena served since October 2017.
