Several new development projects are being implemented by the Ministry of Petroleum Industries in a bid to ensure an efficient supply of petroleum products to the public.
A meeting to review the activities of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation was held at the Ministry of Petroleum Industries yesterday, a statement from the Ministry said.
Power and Energy Minister, Mahinda Amaraweera who participated at the meeting and highlighted the fact that while the CPC faces many accusations from the public, measures should be taken to ensure a continuous supply of high quality petroelum products without a shortage to the market at all times.
