New Ministry Secretary appointed
WJPS Weerakoon has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage by President Maithripala Sirisena, the government news portal reported
She received her letter of appointment from the Secretary to the President Austin Fernando at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (Aug 1).
