Superintendent of Police (SP) and Attorney-at-Law Ruwan Gunasekara has been appointed as the new Police Media Spokesman. He succeeds Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Priyatha Jayakody, who has stepped down due to health reasons.
SP Gunasekara also served as the Police Media spokesman on a previous occasion.
